Anybody taken Statistics Online?

Published

Good morning everyone!

Im currently in a ADN RN program and I have a strong interest in getting my BSN as soon as Im done here. Im thinking of doing the online thing. I don't particularly care for online classes, but Ive taken them and earned decent grades. What Im worried about is stats. I dont have the strongest math skills and I wanted to ask you all what experiences you had with this class, if you have taken it online.

Thanks.

can someone offer a BSN program online? I heard you can get it in one semester time if do it online.

I took stats online and got an A in it. It was a calculus based stats though so we had to scan in our homework and attend weekly phone sessions. It was difficult just because I hadn't had calculus in many years.

I took two - one in BSN program and one in MSN program. I did not have math background and had to have tutor for college algebra, but made "A" in both stats courses. It was actually kinda fun because it related to nursing. I did have a classmate at my job and we got together to talk it out sometimes.

I did stats online, I'm not strong in math at all. I made a B. I studied a lot and took advantage of the online tutor provided by the school. Stay on top of the assignments, and made sure you "understand" before moving forward. I was dreading it but survived. You can too.

I am currently taking an online stats class for my MPH program; it's very manageable. Just as long as you have the self-discipline and set ample time to do the work you'll score yourself an A. Also, if you'll be using SPSS and Excel, those programs will be your best friend ;)

I took it on-line through my college. GOt A.

Easy. ALso our instractor was cool - always on the phone, available and helpful

We used Minitab for my class although I also messed around with R as well.
