hi im looking for study buddy.
I graduated in 2005 got my local license in 2008
failed nclex 2x.
I am getting so disappointed of myself becoz I felt like its taking me forever
thanks.
pfaceliz, i appreciate your advice, i failed on my first nclex rn attempt just because i scheduled for exam right away after i got my att and wasn't really able to prepare for it as i should have, which made me so anxious and totally lost myself in the whole process, i was devastated cause i am not used to failing a test. I faced my mirror one day and told myself to get this thing done...I recalled back that moment in my life in nursing school when i ranked first out of 300 students. i remembered i studied so hard, determined to just be able to make it through, while taking the test it felt like i was just playing..smiling because i knew each answer to every question. i did not even expect to top the class.
Now that i am reviewing for this exam again i have that experience as my inspiration... seriously study, have a game plan and walk out of that test center smiling.
Redseven.. I am so happy to read such resolve! WHAT THE MIND CAN CONCEIVE THE MIND CAN ACHIEVE. all you really need is a great strategy for the exam.... Nurse, asses thyself!!!Think back how you were able to be the first among the 300 and you will find your strength. Then nclex will no longer be that impossible test.. It will just be like any other test.. Good luck and God bless you.

Hi guys! I'm in the Philippines too! Applied in Illionois..
I was wondering if you could help me out with a couple of questions. My application will expire on February 21, 2014. I would like to know if:
1. Its okay to schedule my exam one or two days before February 21, or must I schedule it long before it expires? (The reason for this is that I would like to be 100% ready before taking the exam)
2. When you say that my application expires on February 21, does it mean that I have to pass the NCLEX before February 21 or does it mean that I have to be able to apply for my ATT before February 21?
Hope someone can help me out with this.. Thanks guys and Happy holidays!
