anybody from Phil to take nclex too?

I graduated in 2005 got my local license in 2008

failed nclex 2x.

I am getting so disappointed of myself becoz I felt like its taking me forever

Hi 4ivyMN, i have scheduled for April to take nclex RN, i had been seriously reviewing for 2 weeks now, i need time to understand the theories again, i get anxious pretty bad and after a good talk to myself, i can only lessen my anxiety if i prepare for it. i graduated 2004 and got my local license that same year from the Philippines too so it's been awhile back. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you are but i believe it's not yet too late for us.

Hi redseven.thanks for the encouragement.i will start today to really get serious.i have been on and off in reviewing.what Bon did u apply? I still is in the process of getting my ATt but eventually I know I can get it.what state r u living in I heard Excell is a very good review center for people that been graduated long time but anyway I believe our determination will nail this.

I will study with Kaplan content today.pharma on particular

I applied through Delaware BON. I'm not doing any review class, i'm just purely reading my saunders book cover to cover at the moment and answer the nclex 3500 and i do listen to kaplan, feur and hurst mp3s though that i downloaded when my eyes get tired and i'm really exhausted reading the book, going for a walk etc. I feel i need to have a solid content review before i do the consecutive 100-150 a day tests till my exam day. i am targeting to finish this book and the nclex 3500 this January and i will move on to Kaplan strategies and PDA by La Charity by February, answer test questions by march till april.

When I started to work in this job I have (June 2012) I used to bring Saunders and read it during my downtime.the guy that trained me at work is very flirtatious but I end up going out with him for movie/eat out until one day he said his gf fr Africa is coming so I need to back off(very rude)I reply no worries tomorrow I will replace you with your neighbor LPN.he said(aide 1) don't worry you will not make your exam you will still be with me in the job.huh!very rude.

But I didn't like the LPN.he was a nice guy but the attraction isn't there.so I drop him like a hot potato.my night supervisor(BSn-Rn-phn) after 6mo of working w him(I was really professional and he was too) he start to text me and and asking me to go out until we were dating over a year.and it went serious as in he got a place for us(apt)then he finally bought a house(he move with my stuff)and we were okay untill he got jealous with other aides.the aide 1 above doesn't talk to him unless it's about job(becoZ of me)and there's aide 2 that always said he is double crazy on me(aide 2 didn't know I am dating our supervisor)so after 1yr he said he will pull out becoz he said I like the mountain boys(that's what he call them).which I really end up disliking all of them.but I need my job to support my relatives in the Phil&my kids.

Lesson i learned I will never date a co worker again.i hope to pass this nclex so I can move on and get out in this job.thanks for reading it help me unload my emotions.

Hahaha! This was an interesting story. But yeah, dating 101: Never date someone in your workplace. :)

Did you guys heard about this this review center in Wisconsin? it run by Ms. ----- shes a Filipino i heard its a good review center with a high percentage of passing the name is Nurse Review Inc.

Hi benjnurse yes I did hear about it I have a friend that went there but she didn't pass the first time she did the second time.i also had friends that went to Excell and they highly recommend the Excell.
