hello everybody!!! I'm new in this community.I took my nclex-rn exam June 14 and I still do not have the result here in California. My test shut-off at 83's and now I'm losing hope of passing. Some of my friends took 75 and 265 questions and passed. I do not know what 83 questions means, pass or fail. I read from this forum, people who had the same number of questions passed. What does it mean if you think you got the last two questions right.:o

I called the BRN twice, the first time I called, a man told me that they don't have my transcript yet and he gave a clue and said that once my transcript is in I do not have to worry about it. So I hang-up the phone and I asked myself what is that mean, So I called again and the lady told me once again that my record shows pending transcript and I quess I had to asked if I passed or fail and this nice lady answer me "everything looks good", but I still asked her if I passed and she answered "yes, you passed!!".

Ok so I should say, yes indeed I did pass! Got my results two days after the test from the "unofficial" results web site, then two days later:trout: my lisence was posted, and then four days later my lisince came in the mail, not to seem ung:thankya:raitfull but wheres my darn certificate to hang on the wall! I had 85 questions. I was kinda startled when it did not cut off at 75...the test really didn't seem that hard, but it was wierd to me.

I left feeling kinda deflated, but I didn't feel like I had failed-it was just a very wierd feeling.

I did pass though.

I only had one math question, that was odd, and it was a simple one.

Most of my questions were concerning delegation and managerial skills.

There were a few medication questions, but not really anything I didn't comprehend.

I have friends who had 75 and one who had 265 also.

Congratulations!!!

Congrats!! That's so awesome!

Hope that the OP has had a successful career since passing NCLEX in 2006.
