Just wondering if anyone here is trying for a spot at Dekalb Tech this fall?
We are supposed to hear whether or not we are accepted by May 28th....so nervous!
Thanks for responding, i was a little premature with asking those questions, i recently went to the informational and received an abundance of info on the program. I'm hoping for the slightest chance of getting in the ADN program in the upcoming months. I too have alot of classes that will transfer so thats good on the tuition. I also thought about the lpn route as a back up but i have no classes that will transfer into the lpn which i would pay more for something that isn't my first choice. I go next week for the KPt testing, any tips on doing well on the test? Have you heard of the ADN program start times for 2012?
HopefulNurse2011, I'm considering going to bauder. I contact the school but had very little success... they just told me that i should go to their info session. It's sort of difficult to go to an info session because i'm currently in hawaii however i was trying to get some info about the program because we will be transferring to atlanta. My questions to you is the admission process, pre-reqs, length of program, how is the program thus far? Please help me in any way that you can with info regarding the program.....including your experience thus far. Please help!!!!!!!;-) thanks in advanced..... Hope to hear from you soon!!!!!!!!!!
The KPT test is like the other test majority of he nursing schools require here, it's similar to the TEAS, HESI and NLN (Math, English/Reading, Science). The only difference I remember is that you get an online calculator to use. I am not aware of when the next ADN programs will start, I saw some things mention on allnurses if you search under Bauder but I have not heard anything personally.
