is there anybody here who got their rpn license revoked by cno for not having safe practice for 3 years? what were you required to do to get reinstated? were you required to take refresher course and for how long? and which exams you need to retake? thanks for all your answers :)

You should speak to the CNO directly to find out what the requirements are because it varies.
If you haven't met the hours, that usually involves a new application and some type of nursing refresher course. Just keep applying for as many RPN positions as possible. You don't want to go that route, because it's costly and time consuming.

You can do volunteer work and it counts as practicing. You could volunteer for parish nursing at your church or look at posted volunteer positions on CNO website.

I would be checking this info out very carefully. I know here in Alberta, it is paid, employed hours that are required.
CNO has a publication "am I practicing nursing?" There is a tool to apply to the activities you are conducting. Volunteer activities count. You can always email them about your specific situation. I am glad I have email confirmation From CNO that my volunteer hours constitute nursing practice

There are certain instances where volunteer work counts as practicing hours but I STRONGLY advise anyone planning to go that route to consult CNO for their evaluation before assuming that CNO will be good with it.
