anybody from Global Nursing Solutions?

Published

hi! I am offered a contract with Global Nursing Solutions which is represented by 21st century Manpower Resources Inc. here in the Phils.

Any nurses under this staffing facility? I would be glad to hear your own experience from this office.

They offered a starting rate between $22-26/hour...but they say in the contract that it depends on the state because they have many affiliated hospitals all over US.

They informed me that I have to wait the maximum of 3 years to be deployed. I am willing to wait. I just want my papers to be processed now.

Pls. share your experience. Thank you

hi moiskie. you should really think about it really well, dont rush into coming up with a decision because im telling you that they will really wait and convince you even after you reject it. right now im still thinking about it, ill be attending the webinar on the 28th and ask as much questions as i can. have you attended that? anyways, im actually 70 - 30 about it.. you can read a few of my queries here but i think now better of it because they answered most of my questions. in case you have something in mind please do post. thanks..

well since we are looking for 5 or more years due to retrogression, does anyone here who knows an agency that process working visa for prospective employee?? Or what other countries can we easily go to??

callen1507: If you can afford the processing and paperwork involved there are companies which work on getting nurses to Australia and New Zealand where there are still openings.

UK has openings but many fewer and only for nurses with at least two years experience in a few specialized areas: OR, ER, ICU.

Nurse graduates who cannot/have not passed local board can take opportunities to work as a caregiver in many countries, however you should realize that working as a caregiver will damage your chances of being hired as a nurse in the USA.

There are always options.

Oh! There are, of course, always openings in KSA, Dubai and Yemen.

Specializes in ICU med sure.

to forexinegirl: you mentioned you didn't push thru with GNS and signed up with another agency. may i know what agncy is this?

juno healthcare...they have office in manila just look at it on the web....

Specializes in ICU med sure.

to forexinegirl; thank you for the quick reply. checked their website & they will only petition for immigrant visa. i thought they will also sponsor for H1B visa.

To forexinegirl: I just want to ask if juno healthcare is also a "Registry." Did they also send you an agreement similar to GNS about the compensation like this one below?

"COMPENSATION. GNS will pay Nurse in accordance with the rate schedule set forth

on Exhibit "A". All references to monetary amounts are in United States Dollars (USD).

Nurse agrees to "direct deposit" of his/her paycheck into Nurse's bank account. Nurse

agrees that during orientation and until Nurse is able to function independently at Client

Facility, Nurse will be paid at a slightly reduced rate."

What I understand, if an agency is like what they call "Registry" then they will be your employer and not the hospital or nursing home you will be working at. You will be an employee of the Registry/Agency that hired you. Hence, your paycheck will come directly from them and not from the hospital. Based on the Employment Agreement of Global Nursing Solutions that I quoted above, I think GNS is a Registry. That's why I'm asking if JUNO Healthcare has some kind of agreement like this.

If there's anyone who can enlighten or share more about this kind of Registry or Agency please do. Thank you.
