hi! I am offered a contract with Global Nursing Solutions which is represented by 21st century Manpower Resources Inc. here in the Phils.

Any nurses under this staffing facility? I would be glad to hear your own experience from this office.

They offered a starting rate between $22-26/hour...but they say in the contract that it depends on the state because they have many affiliated hospitals all over US.

They informed me that I have to wait the maximum of 3 years to be deployed. I am willing to wait. I just want my papers to be processed now.

Pls. share your experience. Thank you

sorry, but a major red flag should be going up in your head. there is absolutely no way that they can guarantee that you will be in the us within three years, just not going to happen. they are not the ones that issue any type of visa as well, that is only done by the us federal government and not all that are petitioned are going to make it to the us. there is no way that any company can guarantee anything like that.

as things are now, you are looking at more than a five year chance for a visa, they cannot speed things up. and do expect things to take even longer if the number if applicants steadily increases. there has been no increase in the number of visas issued per year for quite sometime and it is not expected now or in the future.

when things are suspected too good to be true, they usually are.

they are also not a facility, but an agency, that will try to place you with a hospital. if and when the time comes that you have a chance at a visa, if they do not have guaranteed work for you then, the us government will cancel out everything and you will be starting over again.

any time an agency promises that they can do something like this, be very nervous. it is just to get you to sign on the dotted line and then owe them a cancellation fee later on.

let me add that i do not know anything about this specific agency, but what is actually happening in the us right now. and you also get sold to the highest bidder.

i just attended a recruitment/seminar by sentosa. they are saying they can get us to the US in 2-3 years. but you have to be an nclex passer, with visa screen and of course have ielts certification.

could they really do this?

i do hope someone could help me with this.

thanks!!!

Sorry, but you are not going to be in the US in two to three years time with them; they do not issue the green card, only the US government does that and we have been under a retrogression for close to two years now.

You are looking at about five years for a chance at a green card, and there is no guarantee that you will ever get one. They cannot promise that either to you.

Highly recommend that you take the time to do some reading here about what is really going on now in the US.

i heard that GNS and i was about for interview by thier employer through skype, then they called me to hold my application because im not able to meet their minimum requirement that is having a 6 months experience.

they wanted me to come back in january.

Just want to ask if you heard anything about catama and any other agencies for nurses bound to US?

Hi Forixinegirl,

Did you pursue your application with Global Nursing Solutions?Kindly share your experience about it. I had my interview with them and they forwarded forms (ETA,U.S. Labor form,Employment Agreement) to fill out and need to send back with my signature on them..Please give me an advise.Thanks.

Yes, Please share your experience with this one. I'm familiar with this agency...

There is not one thing that any agency can do to get you to the US any faster or any differently. Only the US government issues visas. And the retrogression has been in place for more than two years already. If you take the time to do some reading here you will see that you are looking at more than seven years in most cases for a chance at a green card.

There is absolutely no way that anyone that is just starting the process is going to be in the US in just three years, just not going to happen. The US only issues 10,000 visas per year to those born in your country, and that includes spouses and children as well. There are enough to cover quite a few years that are already waiting with completed files or close to completed files.

They are giving you empty promises that they cannot do a thing about. Add into it the soaring unemployment rate of close to 10% in many areas, and things are not going to be happening anytime soon. New grads that are US citizens and trained in the US are having problems finding employment in many cases as well.

Once you sign up with them, do they actually process your paper right away? I already passed the NCLEX but I'm not done yet with IELTS and Visascreen. Will they shoulder first my IELTS and VS, in case I sign up with them?

hi! I didn't push thru with GNS because I read some not so good comments with them by surfing the internet....I signed up with another agency....God bless on your job hunting....
