anybody from Global Nursing Solutions?

Published

hi! I am offered a contract with Global Nursing Solutions which is represented by 21st century Manpower Resources Inc. here in the Phils.

Any nurses under this staffing facility? I would be glad to hear your own experience from this office.

They offered a starting rate between $22-26/hour...but they say in the contract that it depends on the state because they have many affiliated hospitals all over US.

They informed me that I have to wait the maximum of 3 years to be deployed. I am willing to wait. I just want my papers to be processed now.

Pls. share your experience. Thank you

hi im quite new in here. im confused whether or not to accept the offer ,GLOBAL NURSING SOLNS, is giving me, mostly im doubtful about it, i feel theres not much assurance in there. i asked them whether this 22-26 usd will increase or will be the same rate for the entire duration of the contract which is 2 years and they said they really cannot tell, if they are really working closely with these 'facilities' and if they really are into this type of business then they should know. it means they do not really care. they even mentioned something like they are investing 21000 usd on us, as if they said something like "you owe us big time and just be contended with whatever were giving you..." i couldnt get stucked with 22 usd for 2 years, thats not a lot to start living in US reasonably. And because again they cannot tell how much youre getting, and because again that depends on where youre going to be assigned. thanks foxine girl and mystic 25 for giving me the cues i needed. for a while, i almost wanted to accept the contract but only because i wanted to get things done and over with which is a huge mistake. best regards to everyone.. btw, im checking out juno healthcare, i hope something turns up.:0

Is that $22 per hour or $22K per year?

What part of the US is that in?

Some parts of the US that would be excellent pay but others it would leave you struggling.

You need to know more information and if they are not willing or able to give it to you then run away.

hi hushdawg.. thanks for the reply. that's 22-26 usd per hour. my friend who's a nurse in nj told me 26usd will be fine for starters but 22usd will be difficult. Thing is, theres no guarantee of any increases or of the rate youre gonna get or of the location. you could just imagine if you get unlucky and end up in a facility paying you 22usd/hr and have this rate remain the same for the entire duration of the contract.. in an area where the cost of living sky high.. you'll barely survive with that.. :crying2:

Definitely, $22 an hour would be a struggle for a single person in NJ especially an immigrant with no support network. I would only take such a position if I were going to be a with a group of people who could share the expenses of a house rental or if I had family in the area.

Remember when you are going there without a support net that one week of your pay alone should be enough to cover the cost of renting an apartment.

That is the only way you can survive and build up savings for yourself.

guys! kindly share your GNS experience... :D they also send their agreement form to me after the interview with their nurse manager...still thinking whether to sign it or not.. advice anyone?

hi kurimaw..:coollook:.. im on the process of deciding whether or not to accept it or not.. share me your thoughts.. what do you think of the contract and ms. cj??? let's compare notes..:typing

elow kitin29..have u attended their Global e-conference? They will be holding Global e-conference on april 22 to discuss their program and benefits. I'll first attend that conference before signing up. i've googled the name of ms.cj and found that she's a lawyer... Ms. CJ told me that she will assists me in my visascreen application.. if u have additional info. pls let me know.. :specs: tnx for your reply.. god bless us

is that the webinar? not yet, i was scheduled for it last april 1 but theres been some technical problems and the webinar did not push through, they said they would reschedule but for some reasons they never contacted me for it. i would ask them tomorrow about it and i could probably attend this one. i actually liked the contract and the hassle free filing of our visa but the major setback for me is the rate. im afraid they could not give assurance or anything. i asked them if the rate stipulated in the contract is mere starting or not and would increase eventually and ms cj replied that they cannot guarantee anything and that it depends on the area and the facility youll be assigned. but im thinking if she is really working closely with these facilities, dont you think she should know. if they were able to bring nurses to US in the past, they should atleast have an idea about it. im not asking for exact figures in here, just some insight, perhaps some feedback from the other nurses working there from gns. and this issue should concern them and they should know. they could always base this from the nurses in the past that they were able to deploy. but ms. cj did not really pay much attention to this. I would contact them tomorrow, i was able to share this concern to them through the yahoo messenger.. usa21, but they failed to reply about it, but they were trying to reach me through my mobile which i was not able to answer, so im giving myself some time to decide about it. I am really looking for an agency that could help me out. im currently taking care of my vs certificate. -- im also planning to apply to megaman power for ksa while waiting for my papers to come it -- and ive read it a thousand times in here -- that its going to take a long while... just send me some details about it. i would want to attend to the e-con and well see from there.. message me here ok??? and really lets analyze everything the best we could... good luck.

hi there! I emailed yesterday and told her that i'm interested in joining the webinar and asked her how but unfortunately she hasn't send the log-in information.. the contract was also ok to me..did she assisted u in filing ur visascreen? About the salary, I really dont have much idea on it.. But I think thats the rate for starters like us:cry:..I had an interview before and they offered me 22 usd per hour.. Anyway, im also planning to work in other countries like KSA.. ingat!;)

hi forexinegirl..did you pursue your application with the GNS?so how is it goin?i myself too is an appicant of GNS..i didnt yet pursued further with my application coz i red their contract..and im thinking twice coz i read that u have 2 pay them if you pull out your application prior to petition for US...its really risky

okay... i took care of my visa screen application.. costs me around 498 usd, just for the application and another 60 usd for bon-ca. just update me ok.. they tried to call me several times today but im busy at work and failed to take the call.. but ill be texting them again tomorrow and we can talk then.. :specs: good luck
