do they hire male rns in al hada military hospital? my wife applied and she got only a nurse aide position which pays 1500 SR. i'm hopefully waiting for my job offer. i would appreciate it if you guys could enlighten me.

i just attended a recruitment/seminar by sentosa. they are saying they can get us to the US in 2-3 years. but you have to be an nclex passer, with visa screen and of course have ielts certification. could they really do this? i do hope someone could help me with this. thanks!!!

i think its unfair for the 2nd coursers to bear the brunt of this phenomenon. i am a graduate of nursing, which is my second course. i worked my heart off to earn this degree just like anybody else. in fact, 2nd coursers from where i graduated have to work extra hard. so, the people who want to stop second coursers from taking up nursing should provide better jobs, better pay and excellent work security for us to stay in our jobs. and besides, who are they to say or determine that nursing is not in our hearts?

there are many "fly-by-night" schools everywhere. even in davao. but i guess the quality of education is poor. almost zero hospital affiliations. i suggest you go to a good accredited school and get the best training possible. your future patients deserve only the best from you as a nurse. as they say, nursing is a calling.

that's a ridiculous and absurd discrimination. i'm also a second courser due to graduate (hopefully) this march 2008. i may be 32 soon. that kind of mentality is very naive. i think people should change the way they look at things. who knows? they might not be in power soon.

we have heard about that. But what we have heard here is that March 2008 grads WILL NOT be allowed to take that June Board. How true is this?

my wife is a registered nurse. she has no experience yet as she is still reviewing for the nclex. however, we came across the isle of man and are interested with that place. any advise?
