Any WSU applicants for Spring 2014?

Published

I'm applying to WSU CON for Spring '14, and just took the TEAS over the weekend. Just wondering if I have any other company here? :)

Thanks ladies! I figured so. I am also worried about processing time!!! Hopefully the schools I attended will get them out ASAP! As for the interview, I think we are all equally as nervous. Just be yourself and whats meant to be will be!

I have to call the school tomorrow and figure out what application I need to fill out for WSU! Trying not to be too nervous!

I just went on their website and clicked on transfer application. I just hope that everything I have done was right! There is an option to choose your location. On our interview letter it was stated that it is important to choose the right location.

Cassiebella, are you not a transfer?

Nope, I'm not a transfer! I finished a B.S. in Biology from WSU in 2011. I am assuming its the 'Returning' application like our letter says, but after reading the information page for that application on the WSU website it seemed to specify it was for prior students who left WSU before completing their degree so I'll call tomorrow to make sure its the right application!

Oh I see. Yea, there seems to be some grey areas in every college application where you second guess a bit. Good thinking to double check tomorrow.

There are some different questions that they might ask. Ha ha I hope that we pick easy question envelopes. Somebody that I know had a question that asked. " What was the moment that made you know that you want to be a nurse " While somebody might know that answer right away, other people might have to think about it. If you guys happen to get more information about our upcoming interviews and questions please share!! :) I'll do the same!

@butterflylove and @ Cassie thanks guys for advices!

Hello Everyone,

Here is a question a past student got. What would be one thing you can change about the world?

I was wondering if anyone is taking anything but themselves into the interview room? Like paper and pen or some sort of resume. It's something that a nurse friend of mine asked me about. I don't have a resume that is for nursing school since I did like you all did and filled out the CAS form.

Hey snowleopard13! Thanks for sharing that question! I've heard of that being asked before. Its nice to try and prepare for whats to come, although there is no way to truly know what you'll be asked. I kind of like the suspense though. It'll show your true colors, that's for sure :)

As for the interview, I'm not bringing anything with me. I think if they needed additional information or items, then they'd request it. You, yourself, will be enough! :)

Thanks KKHappy07 for your advice. :)

I've been preparing for the interview a little bit by at least thinking about things that relate back to nursing. I'm an older student with prior BS degrees but have always wanted to go into medicine so I have to weed out unrelated topics. It has helped me remember experiences that I had almost forgotten. However, I don't want to go in and feel like I'm reading from a script. I want them to get to know me or as you say KKHappy07, "Your true colors". :)

Hey future nurses!

I decided to take a study break from Patho. I am currently a J1 student in Yakima. If you haven't checked out my posts please do, and congrats on the interviews by the way! I am so glad I found this website about a year ago,it has been so helpful and I would like to do the same for you guys.If you have any questions please let me know! :)
