  1. Practice questions and remediate!! I cannot stress his enough. The content will come with answering a variety of questions.
  2. The first semester was the most difficult for me personally due to an adjustment period... What has happened that is making you feel this way? I would recommend exploring the reason why before leaving what you worked so hard for.
  3. Yes, I did. I liked mastery because its an app and overall easier to use. Kaplan provides a test environment very similar to what you'll see on NCLEX.
  4. You have an entire month to study. If you've planned out how you are going to use your study resources I'd say you are well prepared. It is possible to study too much and use too many resources. I personally only stuck to Kaplan and on my downtime I used NCLEX mastery for a different type of question style. Answering 100% of the Kaplan qbank in 2 weeks helped me pass the NCLEX in 85 questions. My best tip for you is to answer tons of questions, more than focusing on content review. It is not all about knowing your content, but about knowing what the question is really looking for in its answer. Good luck! P.S. You will never feel prepared enough for this exam but stay calm and have faith in your ability to pass it!!! [emoji3]
  5. I agree that it does!
  6. I bet you did just fine :) are you going to do the Pearson vue trick to calm those nerves?
  7. 62% is great! I got a 52% haha I was not meant to take 265 questions, if I did I would have just died. I think you'll pass in 75 questions!
  8. Also, another tip. Hide your timer and question number. It's a distraction you don't need to focus on. Check it periodically if you're feeling too anxious.
  9. I agree with the above posts! My scores for Kaplan were very similar to yours and I passed in 86 questions. You'll pass! Be confident in your ability to do so. Listen to music that pumps you up or calms you down prior to the test to get rid of those nerves... A beer helped me the night before haha You've got this :) good luck!
  10. You're more than welcome! If you have any other questions, let me know :)
  11. I honestly think your GPA will get you an interview. Your score really isn't bad either. I got a 74 and had a GPA of 3.5 and got in. If you're worried about the minimum TEAS score or any other questions, contact Renae Richter @ [email protected]. She is a ton of help for new students [emoji3]
  12. Thanks! I will definitely give those websites a try! I have a crazy question regarding financial aid...it shows on zzusis that the funds for the 2013-2014 Aid year will be dispersed on 01/03/2013. Now the funds for Fall will be considered the 2014-2015 aid year...correct?
  13. Thanks lady! Hopefully I will receive something in the mail this week :) I'm happy to hear you got some good deals on the books. I was nervous about dropping $1000 bucks just on books alone.
  14. I looked at WSU and Amazon. So far they are only about $10-20 cheaper. Some new books come with CD's and whatnot that you don't get with used. I just want to be prepared in time for classes :)
  15. Not yet. I did however look up them up and it amounts to $900! I'm just curious if they are ALL required. I've heard that not all the books are used, so maybe I should wait for the schedule as well.
