Any WSU applicants for Spring 2014?

During my interview they asked me around 5 questions. Who did you guys have for your interviews if you remember names? I took a tour and I loved it!! I think my interview was ok but for one of the questions I cried because it was a personal story for why I want to be a nurse. They were very nice and gave me some kleenex :)

I listed my questions below and my interviewers where Lynnette Vehrs, Bart Brinkmann, & Mary Jane Groebner. There where two panels on Monday doing interviews. How many where there on Saturday?

Yes, I toured the facility before my interview since I had time so I hope to see each and everyone of you on the webcam during class this spring. Nice facility and I'm looking forward to the new facility at the tri-cites campus.

I was hoping to meet some Tri-Cities student candidatesbut they told me that they had several on Saturday and some Monday afternoon. Oh well, I'll meet them on day 1 when we are all together. :)

If you had an unlimited amount of money what one thing would you do to help the world and how would you go about it?

If you had a friend who couldn't afford to buy a $50 bookfor school what would you do and how would you help them with their finances

Why did you choose the nursing profession?

What experiences do you have through paid and volunteer workthat you'd be able to bring to the program?

What skills do you process that you could bring to theprogram and what is integrity and what does it mean to you?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I took a tour of the place after my interview from a cute flirty S1 guy who really took his time showing me every room and piece of equipment, it was fun! I loved the whole facility and the grounds!

It sounds like we all had really broad assortment of interview questions. I can't wait to hear something. According to the website, letters should be mailed around Nov. 1st.

snowleopard, I believe there were four different panels/rooms conducting interviews on Saturday. I feel badly that I was so focused on my questions and then my long drive home that I forgot my interviewers names! They were three very lovely women though.

@Cassie, are you talking about the admission letter or the program letter that will mail around Nov. 1st? I'm just curious.

So I am guessing they have done interviews in the morning and after lunch until around 5? Wonder if it was two different panels one in the morning and one after. If that's the case then they probably had about 35 interviews per day, unless there was another panel interviewing at the same time :/

So many people were interviewed... so nerve racking! I can't stop thinking about the questions I was asked and how I could have possibly answered them better. This waiting is by far the worst part of the process!

Oh and I also checked on my WSU general admission status and its listed as complete, not admitted... yet under the account summary shows future due: $200.00. I wonder if its a sign of future admittance?

Yup, I know what you mean KKHappy, I have same thoughts running through my head. I don't remember exactly how I answered them so I am just hoping that I did as I planned. I just checked my WSU portal and I also have complete, but I dont have any $200 charges. Oh that is making me nervous!
