Any WSU applicants for Spring 2014?

Published

I'm applying to WSU CON for Spring '14, and just took the TEAS over the weekend. Just wondering if I have any other company here? :)

I re-checked and that $200.00 is gone! How weird...maybe it was just a glitch. Can it just be November already?!

KKHappy, did you check your application status under the actual Student Center in zzusis? If you see a $200 fee, it should mean you're admitted. That's their "future tuition" deposit. I think that means you're good to go as far as WSU admittance is concerned! :)

My application still just says complete also butterflylove. I am hoping there are no issues since the returning student application was barely two pages long and seemed to imply that as long as you left the school in good academic standing then you were sure to be admitted. Fingers crossed!

Oh gosh, I just saw you said the $200 fee disappeared! Way to confuse you! I think you're probably still good though. Right now my application update says "App received, not yet reviewed"

No worries! I just want this wait to be over :(

Me too! This wait is even worse than waiting to hear about an interview. I keep thinking of ways I may have messed up or said the wrong thing during my interview. Especially after being in the car for hours the night before. Plus, at the same time, I'm trying to make plans to move to Spokane in case I do get accepted. Not real easy to tell a potential landlord or roommate "well I need to move in by this date IF I am actually accepted into this program!" lol.

I am totally with you there! The nerves are far worse now. I also have to try and make arrangements to move, but to Yakima...I've started to casually look around, but its a HUGE move with little time to actually do so. The sooner we find out, the sooner we can get on it!

Oh wow haha that is pretty confusing! I am also super nervous and I hate it that we have to wait for so long! You guys could already start working on your moving part a long time ago if this whole process was faster.

I also just had my interview for spring quarter and agree that the wait has been soooo nervewracking. We are all so close so, after the effort of the interview and applying to the school it feels much more real. Its definitely hard not knowing and not being able to plan yet. I am glad I ran across these posts since we are all in the same boat.. I know that there are 90 spots for the program but does anyone know how many people were interviewed?

I agree with this waiting it has been so long but one more week to go. Also, the more I think about the interview questions the more I wish I could of remember to of said that or this.

My application still says incomplete because of one transcript but I was informed it arrived last Thursday but it takes a while for it to be updated. My review could take a while though with 4 transcripts and confirming three degrees. I don't know what goes into the review process but I did have my core classes confirmed before applying to the program.

Hey KKHappy07 maybe the glitch with it showing $200 fee was what will be reality for you. Best of luck.

I was thinking about how many people they could of interviewed too. It adds up fast when you think about 4 panels on Saturday and 2 panels on Monday and probably Friday too. If they did interviews for 8 hours and one panel did 4 per hour. Well, it comes to 256 people which I think is way more than I think which is about 192. I don't know only a guess. Plus if they did send out 256 interview letters some of those students could of turned down the interview.

Anyway, I'm wishing us all luck at getting the thick packet in the mail next week.

I found out today that everything is good to go with my WSU admittance. I called the admissions office when I noticed they'd added an advising hold to my account which typically only happens for admitted students before they register for classes. Now I just have my fingers crossed I am accepted into the nursing program!

CassieBella, thats great news! I also have an advising hold! I was worried because I still haven't gotten a letter of admission from WSU. But YAY! I'm crossing fingers and toes!!! SO NERVOUS!
