Any UCSF Mepn Applicants?

Hi everyone--

Has anyone else out there applied to the UCSF MEPN program? They're supposed to send out letters this month (December) for the interview process. Has anyone gotten a letter yet? Will those that aren't asked to the interview process get a rejection letter now?

Yes, it is a strange phenomenon. I spoke with the dean afterwards last year, and he basically said that there was nothing I could do to strengthen my application and encouraged me to reapply this year! Do you have any backup schools, MorePlease?

Did you take the class with UC Berkeley? and if so how would you rate the difficulty of it? I haven't taken an online class in a long time, and unfortunetly this is the only thing that can fit into my schedule. Thank you for passing this along! I appreciate it soo much.

I walked to the mailbox a total of 3 times today! When I opened it the third time I didn't see a yellow envelope and I also did not see a regular one from UCSF. I guess today wasn't the day. What about anyone else?

Arg. I'm worried that the snowstorms in Boston over the weekend will have affected the mail schedule! I'm leaving my apt tonight and won't be back 'til Sunday--if it's not there when I get home today I'm going to go completely batty over the holiday.

Good luck el-do. Fortunately for us Texans that are more to the south all we have to deal with is weather that can't decide if it wants to be warm or cold. Today is 40 something; tomorrow we'll be in the 60's...

Well, I've been reading these posts for quite a while now and decided I should finally sign up and post!

I just got my letter stating that I have an interview for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program on January 23rd!

I hope that I will meet some of you there. Is anyone interviewing on the 23rd?

Congrats, ysinx! I also got an interview for the FNP program, however it is on the 16th. Good luck to you, and maybe we will meet in June in classes!

I haven't seen too many posts from people in the pediatrics specialty...not a popular one, i'm assuming? Anyway, look forward to meeting you all!

I looked at the UCSF website, but it's hard to tell what the best option is.

Congrats to those who have got interviews so far. Does anyone know of any other ANP applicants that have been given interviews????? I really hope that I am one of them.
