Any UCSF Mepn Applicants?

Hi everyone--

Has anyone else out there applied to the UCSF MEPN program? They're supposed to send out letters this month (December) for the interview process. Has anyone gotten a letter yet? Will those that aren't asked to the interview process get a rejection letter now?

My name is Hilary. I've been reading these posts for a while now, thought I'd join and post something.

I am nervously/excitedly awaiting my interview/rejection letter.

I live a block away from UCSF, so I figure I'll get my letter tomorrow, unless it gets lost god forbid.

Thanks for all the posts, I've really enjoyed reading them, and I hope I can meet some of you in school!

Can anyone tell me if there are any online Physiology classes? I can't find them anywhere.... Hoping maybe someone could direct me in the right direction.

It is really expensive, but UC Berkeley extension offers and online physiology course: http://www.unex.berkeley.edu/cat/course362.html. Unfortunately, the lab is not online.

I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!! Got the letter at 11:30AM today (Saturday the 20th). I was in tears with the overwhelming sense of happiness, relief, closure of anticipation. I am beyond happy. Can't wait to hear from the rest of you!! I'm scheduled to interview on Friday, January 16th. Can't wait to meet you guys there!!!

Hey thanks for the update that's fantastic. Now for questions: What track did you apply to and where do you live? In the bay area? I am trying to guess when I will get notice. Oh, and what did the envelope look like, big or small??

i got my letter a while ago. i didn't get an interview. i am crushed. i live in santa cruz, ca. the envelope was thin and small. :down:
