Any Southeastern Students?

U.S.A. Louisiana

I was wondering if there were any Southeastern students who frequent the Louisiana section of the forums? :) I know a lot of you guys are going to places like OLOL and Charity!

I'd love to get in touch with some people in the SELU Nursing program, though. :) I'm currently enrolled and am trudging through my pre-reqs still--I'll get them all done someday! :D

Hey!

I'm finishing up my prereq's at BRCC and will be applying to SLU in the spring.

;)I am at Southeastern now. I am taking the last of my pre-requisites to get apply for the nursing school. I have been there for awhile so I know that for the regular program cut off was 3.46 and the accelerated was 3.311. I don't know which program you are interested in though but good luck. It is very competitive and I have to pray to get in right now.

I finished my pre-reqs at BRCC and was just accepted into Southeastern for Fall 2008. The cut-off GPA was crazy high for a few semesters there and I couldn't get in on a 3.44, so I took my C classes over and the cut-off lowered slightly over time, I'm in now!

I'd like to get in touch with other 1st year clinicals and knock noggins and offer assistance and support.

Well Congratulations to you!!! I took some classes at BRCC also. I was accepted but I am in the Accelerated Program. What program were you accepted in? I was curious to know what the cutoff was this semester? I know last year was 3.54 which was the highest ever.

Just got my letter last week, orientation/advisement is on Monday. Can't wait to hear that the next 5 semesters are going to be hell:crying2:. good luck, to all incoming clinical students, looks like we're gonna need it.

hey what was the cutoff???

don't really know, sorry

I'm at SELU.....graduate nursing program.

I am senior nursing student right now, but waiting on an appeal process due to the progression/retention policy. so was supposed to gradute this fall 08, but thats on hold. check my blog i just posted about venting about SLUSON

I am attending SLUSON I have 5 months to graduation...I can not wait:yeah:

I just graduated in December. Don't let anyone scare you by saying it's going to be hell. I never failed a class and I did it with two small children...i finished my last semester pregnant with my third. The instructors are wonderful and Southeastern students are generally very respected. If you want it badly enough, you will do great. Good luck to everyone!
