  1. I would not worry about it. I got my letter of acceptance from OLOL about 3 months after I got my letter from Southeastern and that was in March. I would not worry about it until May. I am sure you will get in somewhere. I felt the same way. Good Luck!! I hope you get in!!!
  2. I applied to the Baton Rouge Accelerated Program and got in. I know it doesn't go strictly by your GPA. I know that they look a your letters of recommendation, the essay you submitted, and your transcript. They only have about 50 positions available so there may not be a real reason but that someone else had something that you may not have had.
  3. I think that it means if someone declines their acceptance to the program you may be picked up.
  4. Hey you may want to try Southeastern's Nursing Program. They only count your last grade in a class. Their accelerated program is BSN though. Also what you may want to do is find some good letters of recommendation like doctors, teachers, etc because I got into the BR accelerated program and I had a similar GPA as you.
  5. hey what was the cutoff???
  6. they normally send them out about a week before registration. Most of the time they will call you and let you know that you need to pick it up. A little late but it could help someone now.
  7. Well Congratulations to you!!! I took some classes at BRCC also. I was accepted but I am in the Accelerated Program. What program were you accepted in? I was curious to know what the cutoff was this semester? I know last year was 3.54 which was the highest ever.
  8. ;)I am at Southeastern now. I am taking the last of my pre-requisites to get apply for the nursing school. I have been there for awhile so I know that for the regular program cut off was 3.46 and the accelerated was 3.311. I don't know which program you are interested in though but good luck. It is very competitive and I have to pray to get in right now.
  9. Hey thanks for you information Sunshine425!!! I plan on applying this fall for the New Orleans program. Let me know how you did on the NCLEX though. I just hope that I get accepted into the program. Good luck with your new career.
  10. If anyone wants to know about the accelerated program. The cutoff for the accelerated program is 3.311 and the regular program 3.467. I am personally applying for the fall semester so I thought someone would like to know for their information.
  11. Hey I am interested in the Southern's Nursing School. Has anything changed with the GPA, I have a 3.3 right now.
  12. what was your GPA when you were accepted? and are they extending the application date? Just hear say I guess
  13. Hey what is your GPA??? I am interested in submitting for that program also? Just curious to know I should expect.
  14. Hey sunshine I am interested in that program also for the next coming year. What was your GPA? Because I wanted to know if I have a chance at getting in. I am currently at SELU and I also plan on submitting my application for SELU, ULL,OLOL and perhaps Southern.
