  1. I am part of the BR accel program and as snickersbraccel said our TEAS scores did not count but we did take the test the same day we went to orientation!
  2. I think it is about the same score!
  3. Thanks for the help! I am about 1/2 way thru the notes and my study method doesn't seem to be working very well! See ya in Sept!
  4. I was accepted into OLOL BR Accl Nursing Program. I have the notes for Pharm but I was wondering if anyone was has a good study method. There is a lot of info to memorize and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  5. Miss Mac replied to mskay's topic in Louisiana Nursing
I can't narrow it completely down b/c honestly I don't remember the ratio of questions for each subject. There were alot of fractions and precetage questions. You can't use a calculator. ISome chem questions, spelling (such as recieve or other words that you may reverse just a letter or so in), grammar (which I found to be annoying but I'm not an english person) and reading comprehension (rather easy). I used testpreview.com and something thru the public library but I can't remember what it was called to study. The public library thing timed you and everything! Well Best wishes hope ya do well! P.S. if you google TEAS study or something or that nature alot of practice sites come up.
  6. daneyes521, I am starting the BR Accel Program in September also!
  7. Does anyone know what the TEAS exam is for? I was told that the test was just to see your academic standing. Does anyone know how OLOL Accelerated uses these results?
  8. Thanks I appreciate the information. I am just alittle nervous. I do live at home with my my mom but that is an 1 1/2 hours away from BR. Well good luck with your last course. And once again thanks for the info. I am sure that I will be getting back in touch with ya!
  9. Yeah I understand about the GPA. I was just trying to evaluate how hard the accl program was. Landnurse just made it seem like it was hard but do able while everyone else you see on here make it sound like 2 semesters of hell. I was just curious if GPA played on role in ppls opinion of the program. I know OLOL has a lower GPA and does not base their opinion solely on GPA like a alot of other nursing programs do.
  10. Landnurse, What was your GPA entering the program and what was your final GPA? Did you study all week? Any information you have would be greatly appreciated! I am entering OLOL BR program in the Fall.
  11. Alittle off subject... I applied for the OLOL accelerated nursing degree program in Baton Rouge. I got a letter that stated that I was an alternate for the program. I got a little info from someone at OLOL but I have not been able to get back in touch with them. Has anyone else got this letter. Does anyone know how many alternates the program chooses? Any help would be greatly be appreciated.
  12. I was not accepted into the accelerated Nursing program in BR. I was accepted as an alternate person. Does anyone know what exactly this entails or what the likely hood of being accepted is? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. I am new to this site and I am not sure how it works but, I would love to see the notes if you still have them. So, do I give you my email or can you send them thru this site?
