Hi any nurse here in Queensland? just want to ask for a little help maybe you can recommend any book or review materials i can use for the Competency Assessment Test (QLD Nursing Council) I just need it badly. Thanks!

Me too geministar. I am really contemplating on just waiting for the National registration to take effect but I'm also wondering, what if they will impose much harder rules to comply with? What if the Bridging Programs get too expensive? What if the required IELTS score increases?

So now I am also applying for NSW. I'll be taking the Part A on March (QNC) and I'm also waiting for NSW's decision but I guess that'll still take time but at least I have 2 options. So just do what you think is best for you, do whatever you can squeeze in 5 months. Then if you still fail then at least you can say to yourself that you've done everything you can. Then just move to another 'plan'. :D

Good luck to us chocokat! I hope someone can shed us some light what will happen to Queensland applicants if we wont be able to take the exam.

Have you guys been approved by QNC to take the CAS already? Coz it is stated at CAS's website that only those applicants who obtained approval prior to 31 December 2009 have the option to enroll into the Part A Challenge Test until 17 March 2010.

I think this means that applications received by the QNC this year (or those without approval yet) will be carried forward to the registration under the new scheme.

Please update us with your exam results. There are many going through the QNC pathway but they seem to be quiet after the exam.

il be taking the exam in april..sad to say that its a pass or fail situation..no modules offered anymore..is self review enough?helppppp...
