Any of the shows like Resident life or Trauma: Life in the ER? That would be so cool.
I think the name was Paramedics and they were featuring EMSA (the ambulance company name) in Oklahoma City. I never looked for it but stumbled on it one night when I couldn't sleep and found it on one of the cable channels. A friend of mine had seen it and said I was on, so when I saw them talking about OKC I watched. Kinda wierd seeing yourself on TV. I am not shy by any means, but it was un-nerving being in front of the camera. I guess Hollywood will have to wait on someone else to make millions, it sure won't be me! :chuckle
I was working ER at norman regional and they filmed part of the made for TV movie " Rise And Walk; The Dennis Byrd Story " and I got the part of an ER nurse, as a walk on extra, I'm in two of the begining scenes. Read my story entitled " Down and Dirty in the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing " on this site by me, Sleepless in norman. Take Care.

Dixielee,
Were you on the May 3, 1999 episode of Paramedics? I know it has been a few months since you posted this but I have that episode on tape. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I wish that no one ever had to go through that but I am glad that the right people were there with the right training.

A couple of years ago some episodes or "Trauma: Life in the ER" were filmed at the hospital where nilepoc (Mod of the CRNA forum) was working. As I recall the filming was not done on his shifts.
My youngest sustained a head injury in 1997 and was life flighted to Emanual Hospital in Portland, OR. A couple of years later he saw the episodes filmed there and was pretty tickled when I pointed out that *his* trauma doc was featured (he has no memory of the 48 hrs preceding the accident or the week following). I found it amusing in an evil way that one of the patients followed on the episode was a former friend's husband. He had been shot in the face by police, he survived and served time for the crime that led to the shooting.
