well it looks like I won't be starting in the spring. The main website says that placement for spring is closed. I take the placement test Sunday so maybe I can try for the accelerated program for Fall 2014.

Does anyone know if we have to have another background check even though we had one before entrance

Does anyone know what the insurance requirements are? They said the info is on the website, but I don't see it.

Yes we have to repeat sadly! I just emailed them today, and their background check and finger print process has changed. Must be completed no earlier than 6 months before starting the program.

The insurance information is in the ADN student handbook, accessible to nursing students on their Groups site under My Tri-C Space. You won't have access to the Groups site until after you attend orientation. But, in a nutshell, here's what you'll need:
1. Proof of health insurance
If you do not have insurance, a policy is available through Tri-C. While it is relatively inexpensive, it is very basic, doesn't cover a whole lot, and has a high deductible. (I do not know how Obamacare will influence its availability in the future. There will probably be better plans at better prices, too.)
2. Malpractice (liability) insurance
When you register for a clinical nursing course, a charge for this will appear on your bill.
Unfortunately I will have to complete another background check. Im unhappy that I have to pay for another one but it will be worth it

Once you start the background check on that website (after paying and filling out your information) there are like 7 steps you need to complete. one of those is the insurance- It's just your medical insurance(the information on your card). You do have to scan and upload all the documents it asks for- including your immunizations, CPR certification, etc.
Speaking of CPR certification-I am going this tuesday to CPR ohio...anyone else?
I think I'm going to take the class at CPR ohio either this Saturday or next. Anyone else planning either of these days?
Thank you very much! I just want to make sure I get everything done on time and I don't miss anything important. Thanks for responding.
Hey Jessica ... Do you have to fill out all that information on the site . I didnt put any of it in.
Im the CPR class at parma hospital. It's in October.
