If anybody needs insurance the website that Tri-C recommended to me was ejsmith.com. You can look the plans online and contact them to enroll. The plan is very basic. For 25 and under it's $25 a month for basic, and I believe for over 25 it's $30 a month.

I just received an email from the Nursing Department. The orientation will be held the last week of October.

I haven't received anything from them yet. Should I be concerned?

Hello ladies and gentlemen :shy: ! I started this post back when I got accepted and I am just checking it now. I went through all the comments. I wish I was on here more often. Now I wanna check it periodically lol. Good luck to everyone starting as well as in the process :) I am sure everyone will do fine. I got the orientation email also stating for Spring program, it is end of October. I got all my immunizations (except for the flu shot-which we dont need by orientation and my CPR and background check last month. I am just waiting on that orientation email. I hope all goes well for everyone :up: !

I think it might also be different if you are attending the days classes. Me and ACMA are starting for evenings and weekends. Maybe that might have something to with it...

I'm doing to double ppd currently and proved my varicella immunity with my titers... we don't need the flu shot by orientation? Because that's all I have left.

No it states on the list of immunizations that our flu shot is the only exception

Maybe it varies with each campus. I'm starting Spring 2014 evenings/weekends at East.
