Just wanted to see if their was anyone who would be starting the same time I will be. Good luck to everyone!

They emailed back. Only the finger prints and the background checks are due by the 17th. We have until orientation for the rest.

Sigh. I have another question about the hesi. At the beginning of September, Tri-C sent me the email saying that I was finally eligible to take the A2 exam but they sent another email today and it is to an entirely different website. The first email sent me to the prometric website and the second sent me to the Hesi website. Which one is the correct one? If someone could shed some light on this then it would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember exactly because I took my HESI last year, but I believe you sign up through HESI to register to take the test. Then, you go to prometric website to sign up for a test date at promerric locations.

Okay. Thanks for the info. The first email didn't send me to the Hesi website. It sent directly to the Prometric website so I could sign up for a testing date. Maybe I should just go ahead and sign up for a testing date. The multiple emails from the nursing department is confusing me.

I would say that definitely sign up for the test: some days and locations are filled really fast. As long as I remember, I too received not one but a couple of similar e-mails from nursing dept., go figure. I wouldn't wait to take the test also for the reason of getting your results sooner. Again, if I remeber correctly, prometric only sends test scores to nursing department once a month: first-second week in the following month. So, if you take your test by the end of September, nursing will receive your score in beginning of October. If your sit for the test, let's say October 1st, the test results will be received in November. Any way, if in doubt, I would suggest calling or e-mailing nursing with questions. Test is not too bad, good luck.

Hi everyone! Quick question. Has anyone uploaded all their immunization etc. onto the Verified Credentials site yet? I am currently uploading mine. Has anyone had any problems with it as of yet? Do we need the flu influenza shot before orientation. The site is stating my immunizations are incomplete because I dont have that.

I heard you don't need the flu shot by orientation but if it's not letting you upload it then you might as well go get one really quick. Just go to giant eagle or cvs or something and get one.

so I just realized I need 2 doses of the varicella vaccine- not just one. what is the point of that? I just got the first one today & it says it needs to be 4-8 weeks apart. I called to see if the second one needed to be done by orientation and she said yes. Happy I realized that today, if it would have been any later I would probably have been screwed.

Do you have to fill out all the vaccination information on that site?

What website is everyone talking about? I feel left out. Did you all get it from the e-mail regarding orientation? I received nothing. When I'm just checking nursing website it says forms are due at orientation. I assumed we would have to submit paperwork physically. Could anyone please enlighten me on this matter?

We were directed to a specific website. If I were you, I would email the nursing department regarding all of it. Everything has to be uploaded onto the website that was given in the email. It has to be uploaded by orientation. They give a code in the email in order to get started so I would try to email them ASAP.

Thank you very much aradolec211! It's quite frustrating to find out about crucial information on AN instead of on our school's website. I will try to communicate with the nursing department.
