Any new grad L&D programs?

Nurses New Nurse

Hey everyone,

I graduate from an RN (non-BSN) program in December and really want to get into Labor and Delivery. Its what I went to nursing school for. I've done some research and a lot of hospitals seem to have gotten rid of their new grad programs. Are there any new graduate L&D internships/externships that you know of that are still functional? I figure I should start applying for positions in October and I'm willing to relocate anywhere if I can find the right job. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is my dream job as well and as I found a view, they only took internal workers. I really wish I could find an oppurtunity in this as well....but I can't find a job in any type of nursing and put out well over 200 applications...I am curious to see if anyone knows of any myself...Where do you live?

I'm in Jacksonville, Fl. I know I have to relocate either way because this area is full of current and future new grads.

yeah I am trying not to relocate, but I live in NJ about 5 minutes outside of Philadelphia, so I have my license in PA and NJ and there is nothing, I don't know what I am going to do yet. GOODLUCK

Try Florida Hospital in Orlando. I think they have an OB GN program.
