It covers tuition, uniforms, books, etc. If you qualify, you can also borrow an additional $6000 for living expenses. I don't know why others schools don't offer this. I'm going to be attending Gurnick and they don't offer this. I don't know if its the loan company or the school that decides on this.

ok thanks... oh and if i may, why did u decide to attend GA rather than NCP?

I'm getting laid off as of next week. I need to get into a program right away. NCP doesn't let you know if you are actually in until about the middle of July. I had actually taken all the prereqs for NCP and I would like to go there but I can't take any chances with me not getting in. I would then have to wait another six months to apply anywhere (besides Unitek and I'd rather not go there because of the cost). NCP seems to have A LOT of applicants. They are actually only about 15 minutes from me so I would have much preferred to go there but that's life!

Oo..I am attending NCP South San Francisco..Doing the General Pre-requisites though than hopefully the LVN program later...I am so excited :) The school has gotten alot of good reviews thankfully...I start on Wednesday and am so nervous...Science was never my best subject and here i am going to do a science related career...ugh!! Nerves!! I'm scared i'll be the dumbest in my class...But heres to faux confidence...I will see what becomes of it...:D

Hey Guys, I am planning on attending NCP's LVN program in Hayward this month PLEASE PLEASE let me know if it is a good school and any info I should know before starting. I would really appreciate anything. Thanks so much!

I wonder after you become a certified LVN, would you be able to apply to a community college RN program or State university BSN program. Or would it only transfer to another private vocational/school such as U or Phoenix, Indiana State U, etc...??
