  2. Yea i realized that too lol i need to be learning something from these projects, already completed it. Thank GOD!!
  3. LOL i hate it when i ABOUT to do that...thats why i carry a little cute zipper bag for the loose items i HAVE to carry around
  4. I have a huge project to do and i've come up on a rut where i do not have a single clue on what to write about for Nursing Management. The project is ALL about HYPERCALCEMIA and i have come at a dead end with thinking. I think after hours and hours of studying im just stuck and can't think anymore....someone want to help me out? Please? The question: Identify and discuss nursing management including rationale. :coollook::coollook:
  5. Hi, I do have the laws on med errors, just looked them up and read them. Just needed a RN/LVN to help me with things that i needed answered personally. And how do i get to NSO? I would love to read the cases, i googled it and some other things but not sure what you meant
  6. OMG thank you SO much for helping me! You are an absolute lifesaver. I don't know what i would of done without you. THANK YOU, bumblebeeRN~~!!!
  7. :imbar Please help with an assignment i have! I don't have anyone that i can talk to so im reaching out and hopefully get some help with this assignment. The following is what i have to do for class: Project: Medication error Instructions: Interview an RN/LVN who dispenses and passes medications in his/her work. (acute or long term care) Questions: 1.Has there been an instance wherein medication errors (wrong drug, dosage, patient, time) were done by such Nurse or another nurse in their place of work? 2.What was done afterwards? Was the patient notified? What happened to the patient? 3.What are the institutional policies set forth by their place of employment to correct or prevent such errors from happening? What are nurses doing themselves to prevent such occurrence? 4.What are the state and federal regulation laws that a nurse is liable for if ever medication errors occurs? If an experianced and working nurse who does med's could PLEASE help me, i would REALLY appreciate it. There doesn't have to be any names, of course (respecting HIPPA rules), of any sort. Just broad terms, like "patient" "facility" etc....It would be a great help if anyone could help me! Thank you!:redpinkhe
  8. Hey, i have no idea how to reply to your message lol so im doing it here, hopefully you see it! So yeah i am at NCP but doing the 4-7pm class, me and another person wanted to change to the day class last week because our teacher is totally scary lol...Shes actually really cool, she makes you do your work and no slacking off etc and i need that :) So its all good. Im still getting everything together for the LVN course, going along really slowly and thinking about doing the HOBET test next week so busy busy...Hows your class? I heard that your teacher is really cool and easy to talk to? Do you think its hard? Overwelming? Fun? lol...Some said it was fun...Still looking out for the fun bit lol...So neway talk to you laterz...I have some studying to do for todays class.. Julie.
  9. O that would be totally great!! So, you are going to be at the South San Francisco NCP? That is so cool...For the LVN course i wanted to get into the November one, so than i won't lose my "studying mode" if i manage to pick one up haha...And no i haven't taken the HOBET test yet? Have you? I wanted to study for it a bit before i did it...Ugh! So much to do...
  10. Oo...I am starting my Pre-Req too to get into the LVN program...So nervous that i will do bad...I haven't been to school in a while and have never been the best at Biology, Physiology and Anatomy...Its scary!! I start on Wednesday and its Sunday today...Heres to hoping that this will not be as scary as it sounds...Want to keep in touch as we do the program??? I would love to have a chat buddy to talk with as i do this...and maybe cyber study hahaha...goodluck and happy goings with everything
  11. o wow...I am glad someone else is as nervous as i...No offense haha...But i start my pre-req as NCP College of Nursing In South San Francisco and i am REALLY nervous...I have never liked Biology, Science etc...But here i am pursing a career in that related field...I am so scared that i will get there and have no idea what they are talking about because i don't know much about science etc...And you are NEVER too old to get educated, i say GO YOU!! For wanting and going to do this...Good luck with everything...I will check back to this post later...maybe we can keep in touch as we are doing the pre-req...I dont know about you but i am terrified at the thought of going there and making a fool of myself.....lol
  12. I am going to do the Pre-Req and than hopefully the LVN program there... Its expensive but i have heard mostly good reviews about the place...The only bad thing is that it cost so much haha...I went to check the school out and its a nice school, small...But that makes me feel better that its small...big schools with heaps of people intimidate me!! I hope you find what you are looking for
  13. O wow..So they have some bad points...I don't mind the study bit, i have a three year old brother who hates it when i lock myself in the room to study, he hates closed doors...and playing so i would never get around to studying...I am doing the pre-requisites starting Wednesday and than hoping to go on to do the LVN program...I am so nervous!! Do you have to have Anatomy and Physiology knowledge??? I didn't take science/biology or any science courses in High school so i am nervous that the teacher will be talking about something i have no idea about..
  14. Oo..I am attending NCP South San Francisco..Doing the General Pre-requisites though than hopefully the LVN program later...I am so excited :) The school has gotten alot of good reviews thankfully...I start on Wednesday and am so nervous...Science was never my best subject and here i am going to do a science related career...ugh!! Nerves!! I'm scared i'll be the dumbest in my class...But heres to faux confidence...I will see what becomes of it...
