Florence NightinFAIL, BSN, RN Specializes in PACU. Has 10 years experience. Sep 3, 2011 I did clinical in OR with my hijaab and they just asked that I put the ends underneath my scrubs so nothing is hanging out (I wear the square shaped ones). Then I tied the surgical cap on top of my hijaab. The whole point of the cap is to prevent hairs from contaminating the sterile field - so the hijaab is definitely a plus and something you shouldn't worry about. If they hire you with hijaab - you already know that they are not concerned about it.Good luck! 0 Likes
