I am currently at Miami Dade College fulfilling prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing program that starts fall 2009. I'd like to be in touch with other career changers who after getting a bachelor's in a non-nursing field decided to pursue the program at Miami Dade College.
Thanks for your interest!
Hey MiamiGirl
I don't think they really understood ur question about registration... you are asking about classes non-related to the program just in case you do not get accepted? right? and if you do get accepted then you just drop the classes... I do not think that will affect your grades in any way....
It's not a bad idea...
hey everyone so i have an update, but i don't know if it is true or not we will see. My friend whom also applied to the accelerated program spoke to one of the advisors today and she told her by the end of this week they will try to mail out already the acceptance letters. This is for accelerated. I hope this is true.

Yes, you go upstairs into the actual nursing department where we will be studying. Once you walk pass the glass office where the receptionist is sitting there is a board with the actual nursing classes for each semester. They don't have fall up yet, but they will have it up by registration time. I went there before spring semester started and it is taped up really big. I agree when you say don't get ahead of yourself, but trust me when I look at the classes on my computer it is really confusing b/c everything is all bunched up. When you go there they have each individual class that is offered, seperated and all the teachers and times so you can write them down.
