Yes, we're a few months away from applications for the Accelerated BSN track, but I thought I'd see if anyone else was applying for the BSN/MSN (or just BSN portion) at Johns Hopkins, 2008? JHU is my first choice, but I'm also applying to Columbia, Mount St. Marys College (Los Angeles, BSN only) and Oregon Health & Science University.
I'm nervous as I haven't visited the school yet although the Admissions Officers have been very helpful, answering all of my endless questions via email and phone. I'm taking the GRE in October and I have one shot to get it done and get my scores sent off by the Accelerated track early decision deadline, November 1st. I've spoken to some JHU Nursing Alums via allnurses as well and they've been super helpful with my questions as well (thanks!).
How would I pay for it...? Who really knows...
Hi, good news for you Ham!
To follow up, I did have my interview today. In fact, I should state that I am applying for the BSN portion only, I think there was some confusion here about this when I wondered why I didn't get interviewed. The counselor even mentioned they rarely interview BSN-only applicants. That said, the interview went fine. They are still reviewing applications, so don't anyone worry if you have not heard anything. In fact, while I was in the interview someone was looking for a file related to applications. So the process is ongoing. My interviewer reiterated the 15th/17th as the due date for notifications.
Just got the call today, WAY earlier than I expected...I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:roll:biere::smiley_aa:cheers: Who's coming with me??? :roll:biere::smiley_aa:cheers:
Can you tell I'm excited?
Congratulations!!! I was just wondering which program you applied for and what your stats were? I'm anxiously waiting.
I was admitted to the Accelerated BSN-MSN program for FNP specialty. I can't wait to see who will be in the cohort - Good luck!!!
