I also heard about Banner Hospital as the best hospital in Phoenix region which includes Gilbert-Mesa-Chandler-Tempe. I have been about a yr but thinking still of moving to Calif next year. Most of the hospitals in USA support green card. Much better if you inquire directly to hospital itself to discuss benefits as well.

Right now, if you do not have an OPT, you will not be able to begin work until there are visas available. There is currently a retrogression in place, so nothing can be done that would permit you to work.
Just something to consider at this time. Highly recommend that you check out the International Forum and the stickies at the top of it. You will also need to get a Visa Screen Certificate. The only thing that is waived for you is the actual English exams if you attended your basic nursing training in the US.
Many hospitals in the US do not petition for the green card. They are not required to do so. You will need to check with each facility directly.
well, i currently have an OPT and i took actual English exams (many of them hehe) during my ASU nursing program. Plus i have been here since i was 17 which has been 7 yrs already
so i don't think i need a visascreen like u said right?
what is retogression??

Where are you from? Because there is ways to get visa's to be work authorized. GC is a different matter. I know that some travel nursing companies are experienced with getting visa's, sometimes they like you to have experience though. Try to call a travel nursing company to see what your options may be. Good luck.
