This is my first post and I clearly have no idea what I'm doing. Sorry in advance.
Just wondering if there are any New Mexico Students hoping to get accepted to GCU for Fall..
Also if you're hoping to get into any other school.. Please feel free to jump on in too.. Doesn't seem like NM gets any action on this site..

I'm planning on applying for GCU's fall program also, it looks like a good program. I'm also going to try to get in at CNM but have little hope for that (guess the registration fills up super fast). We are getting close!
I've heard great things about the GCU program so I'm super excited.!
CNM is definitely hard and their system is a pain. I've done all my prerequisites there... Finishing up my last semester. Since I've been on the GCU track of requirements, I don't even want to try for CNM.
Fingers crossed we get in... There have been a lot of people interested.. And only 24 spots available!!!! I'm so nervous!
Have you taken their HESI yet?

I feel the same way about cnm. Took the hesi with biology and chem but still have to take sociology in summer, hope I can still apply in may! Kicking myself for not taking it sooner. Wow 24 spots! So nervous too, fingers crossed!!
Yay you're almost ready! I'm in Sociology now.. Interesting class! I love my professor and have her book if you want to take it with her. I can give it to you.
I will be taking Patho online starting April 7.. So as long as all your classes are completed by August 25th than you're good.
That's great news! I took patho last summer, a lot of information but great class, my teacher was great too. I have the patho book if you need it. Now I just need to figure out financial aid and loan stuff.
I already bought the book a few months ago in hopes to "study ahead".... Yeah hasn't even happened once... Always too busy. ?
Yeah I need to get my taxes finished... Then do the FAFSA and figure all that out as well..

Hey you guys!
Thought I would jump in because I am now seriously considering GCU. I just requested more information from them and I am really hoping that their program will be that bright light at the end of this endless trying to get into nursing school tunnel! I have all but given up on UNM and while I plan on trying to get one of those 24 spots for the AASN/BSN track at CNM in the Fall, I don't think it's going to happen. Hopefully GCU will work out!

I just sent you a private message with some information.
Hey! It's been so depressing trying to get into UNM and CNM's nursing programs. I hope GCU provides that much needed light at the end of all this. I have been looking around the state as well. Good luck guys!
Agreed... I have gotten so discouraged, all of my friends either got in or gave up. This whole process is so stressful.
Have you guys taken the HESI at GCU yet?
I scheduled to take it May 8th, just wondering how it is.
