Any GCU Fall 2014 Hopefuls???

This is my first post and I clearly have no idea what I'm doing. Sorry in advance.

Just wondering if there are any New Mexico Students hoping to get accepted to GCU for Fall..

Also if you're hoping to get into any other school.. Please feel free to jump on in too.. Doesn't seem like NM gets any action on this site..

I'm not sure about the background check because I did mine in January... I know it came back pretty quickly though.

Oh and I'm soooooooooo NERVOUS!!!!!!!! Freaking out actually..

Did the HESI yesterday... Which I don't feel like I did that great on... Ugh...

But S... Did tell us that we will know by May 29th if we are accepted... Fingers and toes are crossed... NO sleep will happen until then!! Grrrr

About the background checks, do you guys know if we are supposed to get something back after having it done or is everything just sent to GCU?

I'm getting so nervous... I can't believe the deadline is almost here!

Hi there! Thanks so much for inviting me to your blog from the other one thats posted for Az. How long did it take you to complete the Hesi? Also do you mind lettimg us know what you got? Im sooooooooooo nervous about the chemistry.

The chemistry section is very basic, and I was told they look mostly at our gpa. So don't worry too much.... It's hard though, sheesh all this stress has turned me a bit Crazy!!

It took me 3 hours to complete the HESI and I got an 88% cumulative score.

I had bought the study guide and I was nervous for the Math and Chemistry sections so that's all I studied for... While taking the exam though.. I felt sooooo lost on the chemistry... Like it was NOTHING from the study guide.. But surprisingly I got an 88% for that section..

You will do great..just study up on what you feel uneasy about.. Read the questions carefully and just try to reason through... Everything except some math is multiple choice..

You have 5 hours... Use as much time as you need!

I got an 88% also, my problem is the reading comprehension, I always want to scan the paragraph fast, gosh need to learn from my mistakes, always in a hurry. I agree with just relaxing and take your time.

I got a 92% cumulative score. I got 88% on the chemistry section as well. There were some questions that were just out there but reasoning the answer out worked out okay. As the others have said take your time, reason through, and breathe... You've got this!

I know!!! This website has been so helpful, I don't feel so alienated while waiting to hear from them. Yikes!! Just want to be in a program already!!
