I am just wondering if there any former nursing students that struggled with written tests? I am in my last semester of RN school and am scared I may have to repeat because I am a few points off. I am currently carrying a 79.5 average with 2 tests to go and a Final. I have excelled in my clinical and was even the first to be chosen for a leadership experience. My last clinical instructor called my work exemplar and said I should not stop at RN but continue my education. I have always struggled in my testing abilities. I was tested and diagnosed and I was given extra test time and a quiet testing area. I still struggle. I do want to add I did make it through a LPN program and passed my boards on 85 questions with no testing accommodations. I am just wondering if any of you out there were poor test takes but excelled in clinical. There are many of my classmates that ace the tests but they are struggling in clinical and some have all ready had to repeat. Any words of advice or wisdom will be appreciated.
