Hey guys! I see alot of you mention CrossFit from time to time in posts related to nursing and just wanted to know who my fellow CrossFitters are! :) if you can and would like to I'd love to know what box you attend, how long youve been CrossFitting, or if you do it on your own what program you follow!
Thanks guys!.
This is so funny bc I HATE snatches and love burpees!
There is something wrong with you.
Was doing CrossFit during nursing school but stopped at the moment to focus on cardio (ran a10 mile race recently and have some more planned this fall. I'll start again as the weather turns. In Columbus, OH.
I'm a crossfitter and p90xer in Arizona. I absolutely love it! I have been in nursing school for a month now and I am still in the process of figuring out how to keep working out a part of my schedule. I usually go 4-5 days a week, but since school has started I'm lucky if I get 2 days in.
Awesome! So many!!!
It's it so cool what a stress reliever it is? I have a test this coming Thursday and my workouts Yesterday and today were AMAZING!
Yesterday after a good heavy lift I did "12.1" which is 7mim AMRAP of burpees. I beat my previous record and got 127!!!! :)
Anyone do that one lately? (Its terrible!) Short-sweet-and you can do it between class and study time
Hi! I am a CrossFitter with Diablo Cross Fit in Martinez. I LOVE it! I wish I could go now but injury has me down. I have heard that a lot of nurses CrossFit and I know there are several at my gym. Wish I could go every day, but for now, it is resting for me[/quote']

Awesome to see so many active peeps! :)
I literally have no life so my lift consists of training, studying, and family. Since my husband and I own a Crossfit box it's kind of just a whole chunk of my life now haha:) but it IS possible to keep it going. It does help that I can train whenever I can fit it in.
I love oly lifts and also just flat out HEAVY lifting.
I won an all women's Crossfit competition right before my semester started which was awesome! :)
I'm looking to do a few more during the semester so lets hope my consistency can keep up with all this reading
