I definitely second that!!! I know I have bothered you guys multiple times!!!

BTW. I'd hold off on your drug book until Fall. By then the 2012 editions will be out. I got my 2011 edition when I started in Fall '10.

It won't make a big difference though if you already have a 2011 so don't sweat it.

Adnrnstudent, Yah, I was hoping that I would not run into that situation. Luckily the book was 40% off at Borders, because they are going out of business.

Is the COD Nursing tuition information online?

Yes,and in packets. Like 212 a credit hour!

Specializes in Phlebotomy, EKG tec,.

I'm new to the thread, but also am accepted! Very exciting! Who's trying to get into the Spring 1100 class?

I would love to do spring so that I could have the summer off.

Congrats and welcome!!!!

Welcome Erin, Congrats! It is very exciting!! Im not sure what I am going to do...class in spring is on mon, thurs and some tuesdays and I have another class on tuesdays.

Do any of you accepted mind sharing what your points were in the cod system? I'm just curious to see where I stand.

Rocky410, I am not sure how the points are calculated. You should go sit down with someone in the Health Science department and see what you can do to strengthen your application. Are you planning on applying for 2012? They did change a few things, it looks like you have to have your CNA done in order to apply and the acceptance letters will be sent no later than May 15. We just received our letters this week.

They use a points system based on GPA, Pre-Reqs taken, Previous degrees, and PAX-RN exam. You can score out of a total possible 27.5 points. That is how you are chosen.Did all of you have very high GPAs? I work as a PCT @ Edward and know several nursing students from COD all of which said they had 3.9/4.0 GPAs. I know they are usually very picky when choosing. Just wondering if thats still the case.
