Any Applicants to Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 124?

Hi! I've read and re-read all of the threads here regarding previous applicants to FNU, and now it's my turn to wait! I am a fairly recent BSN grad with about 6 months of peds experience under my belt, and applied to the FNU March 3rd FB cohort. I have a ton of community experience, and co-created a mental health arts intervention program in my city, so I'm hoping my extracurricular experience is enough to bypass the 1 year of required experience. Anyone else anxiously awaiting news?!? Let's chat, because otherwise I'll be tempted to stalk my email another 100 times today, lol. :)

Ugh. Did anyone apply anywhere else?

Mel- I did not apply anywhere else, but wish I did! I have 3 schools I'm going to apply to next, and will reapply to Frontier when I have my 1 year of experience. How about you, did you apply anywhere else?

beauRN- Thanks so much for posting this, it's good to know they are out until Tuesday. I really wish they had sent denial letters, or wait list notifications so we would just know already!!!

I didn't apply anywhere else. Where are you going to apply to? I need some ideas. And yes they should have sent out denials and waitlist emails.

I just got my wait list email! So not all hope is lost. I replied yes, and received an out of office reply for the admission office. I'll call tomorrow and see how far up the list I am.

Mel- I'm looking at Uc (univ of cincinnati) since I live in cincinnati, Vanderbilt, NKU, and Rush. How about you?

Hopefully I'll find out if they are going to be accepting NC students again months next few months, then I can start preparing to apply for later in the year.

Has as anyone else been notified they are wait listed? If so, have you called to see where you are on the wait list?

Beau RN, did you hear anything yet?

I also applied to the FNP program and got no email yesterday. I called at about 4:50 and the receptionist told me he was the only one there- everyone had left for the 3 day weekend so we would get no response until Tuesday. He acted like he didn't know anything but I think he just wasn't supposed to say. He finally told me that he thought I was on the wait list but he didn't really understand the notes she had written. He couldn't tell me where I was on the list or how many had been accepted etc. I tried to email but just got an auto I'm out of the office response. So maybe no response means we are on the wait list? I just wish they would have let us know before this long weekend.

I called but was told the person I need to speak to was out due to the weather. Ugh!

They never changed my application from class 124 to 125! Ugh so frustrating!
