  1. Hi Sarah! I was recently accepted to FNU off of the wait list and I have 7 months of nursing experience. From all that I read it seems as if they want at least a year, but they do make exceptions. I think you have a good chance- just write a great entrance letter and secure strong references. Maybe wait til you have 6 months of experience? Best of luck!
  2. My fingers are crossed for you! I was #7 on the waitlist and got it, and while at Frontier Bound I met several who were admitted off the wait list just a few days before FB. Keep us posted and stay positive!!
  3. Thanks, I definitely will! fortunately I only have a 4 hour drive to Frontier, so not too much of a hardship! Have you heard anything more about 125?
  4. One week to Frontier Bound and I just got my acceptance! Kind of in shock right now, but super happy!!
  5. Hi! I'm on the wait list for FNP 124 and am wondering if those of you who were accepted could tell me a little bit about the time schedule from here until FB on 3/3. When and what things must be completed, when your deadline to notify admissions of your decision to join the program, and what type of requirements are necessary prior to FB. I'm hopeful that I get accepted, and need to mentally prepare myself in the event that I do. Thanks!
  6. Aww girl, that sucks!! Is there anything at all they can do, or are you just stuck waiting? On the same hand, there could have been much worse news... Unfortunately with the newfound hope there comes more waiting.
  7. Have you called yet? Anxiously awaiting your reply and hoping we're on the wait list together. Has as anyone else been notified they are wait listed? If so, have you called to see where you are on the wait list?
  8. I just got my wait list email! So not all hope is lost. I replied yes, and received an out of office reply for the admission office. I'll call tomorrow and see how far up the list I am. Mel- I'm looking at Uc (univ of cincinnati) since I live in cincinnati, Vanderbilt, NKU, and Rush. How about you?
  9. beauRN- Thanks so much for posting this, it's good to know they are out until Tuesday. I really wish they had sent denial letters, or wait list notifications so we would just know already!!!
  10. Mel- I did not apply anywhere else, but wish I did! I have 3 schools I'm going to apply to next, and will reapply to Frontier when I have my 1 year of experience. How about you, did you apply anywhere else?
  11. Thanks so much for sharing and congrats!! I also would like to know if rejection letters are sent by email or by post.
  12. I remember reading on other boards that the FNP notifications go out after the CNEP notifications, so hoping for Monday. I tried to call at 5:30 ET tonight and only got voicemail. I still have a small glimmer of hope left!
