Antelope valley fall 2015!

Published

Hello all! I been following this forum for awhile and I have always found a lot of good information on here... I thought I would start a forum to reach out to anyone who may be applying to AVC for fall of 2015. I know we may be finding out in May. How does everyone feel about this? I know that stats requirement may of helped people that already had the the class done a small advantage. IF I get in, I'm concerned about whether or not I should work or not. I'm full time at a mortgage company which I know I would definitely have to leave... Does anyone know how to get on with a medical based job without any CNA, or medical assist license? Or if chanes of getting a job in that field are even likely with no licensing.

Yeah it's crazy.. COC starts accepting applications soon until July 31 for spring so I'm gonna try there..

Yeah I'm gonna try them out too, is it the same just your stats, micro, anatomy, physio to apply? I am only missing my humanities

I think they just require the biologys & english

Easy to apply at COC. One month you put your intent to apply and sumbit all your transcripts. They check your eligibility and if you qualify they alert you and the following month you apply. Another month and a half later you find out if you were accepted. So like mine was eligibility check by jan 31. Application by feb 28. And come April 15th they emailed me about acceptance.

All you need as far as prereqs I believe was the three bios and English. They've got a very detailed checklist for like everything. Makes the process easy.

Thanks lamchops!
