Hi Kid

Good to see u around here after a long time.... Where did u get this information from...

Kid.. I have a small problem in the visa screen and CGFNS certificates. 1 letter of my last name (family Name) is missing in both. But my clear photograph and signature is there in certificates apart from that I have another material from CFGNS( letter) which has the right name. Rest everything is fine including the CGFNS ID. Another advantage is nobody will be able to find it untill they check very clearly. What do u feel about this. Would this be an issue.... Please give ur comment on this as am really tensed. I don't have enough time to get this rectified also since my interview dates are very near.

Thanks in Advance

Nimisha

TO SUZANNE: hi suzanne! NVC has just received our approved petition. we're still waiting for the fee bill. i'm from the philippines, do you think we'll be affected by the upcoming retrogression? hope we're safe..any comment from you? thanks a lot :)

Honestly, from these 50,000? Not good.

You are not guaranted the visa until you have actually been assigned a visa number, not the file number for checking with USCIS.

You still need to wait for the visa bill to be paid, and not all agencies are speedy with doing this. You then have to go thru the DS-230 and that is not even sent until they receive payment. Then that needs to be reviewed, and many times, they ask for additional information, etc.

But just because these 50,000 get used up, Congress is working on some other bills right now. Just not sure exactly what they are going to do about this. Different bills are being passed around right now, and they need approval by both the House of Representatives and Congress to get approval. I am sure that something else will come along, but nothing official has been released. And it is just everyone's crystal ball at this time.

With the change is location for processing of the petitions, that may make a difference but again, that is a new system getting started, so not sure if that will save time for those that are already in the system.

Only thing that i can say for sure, "Only time will tell." What ever any one else says, unless it is official from the government, it doesn't count.

thanks suzanne! i totally agree with you, only time will tell. well i just hope and pray for the best. thanks again for ur time. god bless you! :)

suzanne, what do you mean by a visa number?? u mean the NVC case number (that starts with 3 letters followed by 10 numbers)?? do you mean that if one gets an NVC case number, he is guaranteed of a visa?:uhoh3: :uhoh21:

You are not guaranteed a visa even if you have an NVC number. An NVC number is not a visa number or a visa. You must have packet 4 at least or an interview schedule.

2nd Doom's Day for Schedule A is coming unless a bill is passed!
