anatomy and physiology in spring o9 too much??

Published

i was hoping for some more advice. i am getting ready to register for spring semester, i am currently taking biology this semester and last night i talked to my instructor about the a@p classes. she said that most people try and do the 8week anatomy then 8 week pysiology class instead of a whole semester of each. has anyone out there done this? is it totally crazy? if you have done this did you take other classes other than this? also i have 2 little ones at home with me all the time, i just work on the weekends.thanks in advance for the advice just hoping for some outside perspective. thanks susan:wink2:

hmmm...that's an interesting option your school offers. i think it is doable, just watch how many other courses you take. ~you want to do well in those courses.~ they are the heart and soul of your nursing school career!

good luck!!

Was biology easy for you, or was it a struggle? I'd base your decision off that.. if you can handle science, memorization, etc, then go for it.

thanks for the advice, i never considered comparing it to biology but with that being said i have to study ALOT to get the concepts but i do eventually get them so maybe i should just take the regular track instead of fast track, because afterall i am really trying to keep my 4.0 . thanks again.. butterfly

You really have to commit if you decide to take both.

A&P is essential for NS and this is something you just don't want to study to get a good grade, you need to study your heart out to truly understand the concepts.
