I haven't been to any of the Multicriteria meetings on the new application process for American River College but I have a question:
If ARC is selecting students from the top 30% of applicants and automatically giving top 30% spots to those who have applied 5 or more times, does this mean that the top 30% will be made primarily of those who have applied 5 or more times?
Does it mean that you need an even higher score to be put in the top 30%/one is less likely to get a spot in the top 30% based on the multicriteria score? Or is it the top 30% of the multicriteria scores AND 5+ time applicants are included in the selection pool?
I hope some of this makes at least a little sense :)
Apparently their website is under construction but they have a countdown that says it will be back in 13 days... Before last fall semester, I believe they gave out passes in mid-August...[/quote']I emailed them :)
I'm so excited! As of today, I am officially enrolled, my background check is underway, CPR class is scheduled, and I am going to get my passport pictures taken on my lunch break (for my ID badges). Still lots more to do, but I'm on my way!

I am so excited for you! I scheduled my AHA BLS for June 8th with Sutter Memorial :) that's about all I can do while waiting on our acceptance packets for PCC...
Has anyone actually received a rejection letter yet? I keep checking eservices and my status is still at qualified for ARC and received for SCC although I got an email letting me know that I am an alternate for SCC fall semester. I feel like I am going crazy with the waiting.
I'm pretty sure they don't send rejections at all...
