Thank you so much!!! I like that you re-read your power points and boxes/important things in the text. That a great way to solidify the lecture. I know it was time consuming but passing the NCLEX the first time is worth it!

Can anyone share their study methods? Do you do your readings first, then practice NCLEX questions, then go to lecture? What has worked for you and what hasn't? I start nursing school in the fall and I want to have a study plan hammered out! Thanks all!
  3. That's awesome congrats! Out of curiosity, what did you do for work for that year?
  4. This is a great thread! Please keep the info/resources coming! Any specifics on California employment would be great, sacramento specifically...
  5. I know for a fact that Mary immaculate hospital in NN won't hire ECPI grads...they've had too many med errors with them. And it's super expensive. I'd go with TNCC, riversides RN program or Sentaras BSN. I actually have a friend in Sentaras BSN program and she loves it.
  6. That's my plan too. I also want to get a CNA job ASAP so I can start making connections.
  7. I was just accepted into an ADN program that will begin this fall, yay! That puts me at graduating in May 2015. I know it is a terrible time for new grads right now...am I crazy to think things are going to be any different when I graduate in two years? Reading all the posts of new grads struggling to find work is so depressing. What are your thoughts? Will things be any different in two years??
  8. Yay! I have a credit on my account! So happy, I never qualify for anything!!! Lol. Thanks so much for all your help :)
  9. Hmm. I got my fafsa confirmation email on 5/25...Maybe I should give them another week before I call?
