I graduated in 2009, the program was expensive i think 30K. I can only think of 2 teachers that were good the rest below average. Ms. M, I believe teaches 3rd term was amazing also Ms. S. and Mr. A. for clinical. Not sure if those teachers are still there.... Good program, sometimes organized and expensive.
school is more expensive now 36k .. I just finished my1st week I think the teachers is new .. I think we are the2nd class she is teaching..at the school .. and it seems like the part time is a whole different program ... we have different advisors ..
Wow 36K. The only thing I would recommend is after 1st term get your CNA and get a job at a facility so when you get your LVN you can possibly move up. It is really hard for new grad LVN's to get a job.
getting my CNA license will not be until April I think that when the 1st term ends... I am looking into getting my CNA license school is expensive.
Sorry if my post was not clear. You can get your CNA after completing 1 semester in LVN school. All you would have to do is take the test, not go to another school. Your adviser should be able to give you more info.

I am originally from southern CA and have been living in Texas for the past 8 years. I completed Casa Loma College's LVN program at their Van Nuys campus in 2005 and moved out of state 6 weeks later.
Anyway, one of my coworkers completed the LVN program at American Career College and the RN program at West Coast University, and had to move to Texas after graduation due to her inability to find work in southern CA.
I guess I will talk to my career advisor this upcoming week I need a job

thinking of doing the same thing your friend did also ... but going to west will take me a couple of more and I have a couple of classes that transfer to west coast so my program would be less than 3yrs at west coast

I graduated in 2010 from the Anaheim campus. It was OK, I mean, I did pass NCLEX. Clinicals were ok, during 4th term we lost our peds site so that sucked. I would do it again given our situation at the time because of the fact that they had a part time option. I liked pretty much all my instructors. Would I recommend it to anyone? Sure, if you can afford it and want to get your LVN license quick.
WOW that sucks that you lost your clinical sight ....
I guess really its based on the . I like the school so far its part time this is my second week liking it soo far
