American Career College LVN Program

Has anyone graduated from American Career College LVN Program?

Can you tell some of your experience attending this school?

How ware the teachers ?

I just started their part time 18month program

I know my post is late, but how are you doing in the school. I am considering attending this school.

I went to ACC-LA, graduated October 2012. That campus was terrible. the teachers I had, some good ones especially for clinicals and some pretty lousy ones as well. That campus was so disorganized from the faculty to the administration. Everyone there is pretty much new so I don't know how it is now. The worst part about ACC is that they pretty much accept anyone. it's all about the money at a for profit school. If you owe any money, they won't help you till your paid current.

My first two clinical sites were pretty bad-all nursing home/rehab facilities. The real fun was OB at White Memorial Hospital and Pediatrics at Totally Kids and Med-Surg at LAC/USC. I have almost a 4.0 gpa and got over 1000 on all my HESI's but it was no thanks to my teachers, that was all me and my study sessions with my friends.

I'd say go to an adult school or some other LVN school that's cheaper, 32K isn't worth it. Or go thru a CC LVN program, those aren't as difficult as a RN program to get into. It's way cheaper and it doesn't matter where you go to school, as long as you pass your NCLEX.

Good Luck. Any other questions, I'll be glad to help out.
