I'm in a 28 month RN program. I am just finishing up Nursing 3 (goes to N6) next week and have one year of school left (I turn 21 the week of graduation!). Nursing I had a 86%, Nursing II an 82%, and have an 83% right now in N3 before the final. I have been trying to do some sample NCLEX quizzes/questions and found myself getting in the 55-65% range on those. I took the free Kaplan 50 question NCLEX practice exam and only got a 50%. Should I be concerned?

Well you got 50% right and are about 1/2 way through your program... that actually sounds on track. The main thing is did you get enough of the passing level questions correct. Application and Analysis questions are the ones that count towards passing the NCLEX exam. If you concentrate on those questions labeled in review books are either and both... you are well on your way to success!
