I decided to apply to Alvin after a friend told me about the program. It is a bit far from my home (about 40 min) but I rather start somewhere than keep waiting.
This go 'round, I am applied to TWU, Wharton Sugarland, and HCC.
Hey! That is awesome. I am a medical assistant and I think it is awesome that we get points for having medical experience. Dont sweat the HESI. Study for sure but it is much easier than the TEAS test. Best wishes to you and keep me posted!

UT Health sent out emails today... I applied @ Alvin and UT... didn't get a UT email so I'm so ready for Alvin.. why do their process take so long?

Where did you get your email, personal? I wish they did not take long but they have to go through all the applications and I guess put them in categories of scores and making sure they have all the classes needed. Just a long ranking process.
I doubt I got into UT. I wouldn't go anyway. My friend is currently in it and it is very rigorous. I have 3 kids and that would add way too much stress to an already stressful journey.

Lol, I did my email over 20 plus years ago. I wanted UT bad but i assume it all will work out.
I thought i saw your pic on the UT allnurses page earlier today.
