I decided to apply to Alvin after a friend told me about the program. It is a bit far from my home (about 40 min) but I rather start somewhere than keep waiting.
This go 'round, I am applied to TWU, Wharton Sugarland, and HCC.
Went to the meeting today. It was very informative and made me even more excited and anxious to know if I was get in. I liked the school and the Dr was amazing and made the meeting fun.

I was in the front row on the right side. I also never thought about doing my lvn then bridge over and then bridge over again. I liked the school and they seem very efficient and very helpful. Hopefully I hear from Wharton this month and the rest of the schools it seems like end of Oct early Nov.

Did u wear a black top?....yeah I’ll be bsn core complete by the end of the year and I don’t want to sit around doing nothing so I’ll apply for the LVN program come October and I love the idea of taking bsn courses too at Sam Houston university, seems rigorous but doable.

Yep that was me... Are you worried you won't get accepted? Are your HESI scores and prereq scores good? I am all done with all my BSN prerequisites. I wasn't aware that once you are core complete you get am associates in health science or something like that lol.
I will apply for the LVN program, as well. Just in case. Isn't Sam Houston in Huntsville? I think it is an awesome option but it is soooooo far!!!!

I was the one wearing a white top and a red scarf, don’t know if you remember. I have a c in psyc and B in English and my HESI is 87.6 so yeah I’m up against a lot of great scores...I’m optimistic tho

What was your lowest HESI score?
I think overall you are good. You can try and bring up your HESI score to better improve your chances. I have a B in eng. and then a B in psyc so I get it. I don't live in Alvin or Pearland and I am a transfer student so I have those things against me. It does not hurt to try though!

My vocabulary section i had 76??♀️, my reading is 84 and yeah I might just do the HESI again since they pick the highest from here and there

I was not prepared for the Vocab section what so ever. I got a 78 or 76 but yes try and take it again. It won't hurt to try besides having to pay for it.
