Hi there, any of you applying to the fall 2011 program?

It's still very early! You are number two. I am sure there will be a couple of people that will still have to cancel. Good luck on the teas. I think it was harder than the hesi.

Well, I guess Alvin just isn't in the cards for me. I have my UTMB TEAS test tomorrow at 1:30pm. Hopefully it goes well!

Thanks, but I was hoping to not have to take the test if I didn't need it. Plus school is fixing to start and I am registered for the classes I would need for UTMB and last day to drop is Friday.

Well even if you are taking summer classes somewhere, that doesn't mean that you can't start the program in the fall. San Jac doesn't send out their notices until late June or early July. If you are still number 2, you will most likely get an offer letter. But if you get in somewhere else you like instead, don't forget to decline so someone else can move on up. :)

good luck with UTMB- if you are planning to apply- submit your app as soon as possible because they have a rolling admissions and take forever to get all your information into their system and sometimes they apparently lose your app...interesting...

just had my first orientation meeting out of 3!!! Im so excited but a little scared of what the experience will be like.... lol

How did your meeting go? Did they give you a lot of good info?

yeah, mainly talked about vaccines, background checks, and summer courses info.. Not sure what the other 2 will talk about.. Im excited non the less. When is alvins orienation?

are any of you going to join the student nurses association? if so are u doing the national or just the one at alvin? I think it sounds like a good opportunity for scholarships and to get out in the community. Not sure if i should pay the liltle bit of extra money to do national though. :confused:

class schedules are on the college website if anyone wanted an idea of the times and days you will have class....i also found a s.i.p. from spring semester.... seems interesting and i can not wait to start nursing school!!! :-D
