Alvin Community College (ACC) Fall 2024

Anyone applying to ACC Alvin for Fall 2024? I didn't see a post for it so thought I'd start one. I believe we find out sometime in May. I was actually in Alvin once before a few years ago but I had to withdraw because of some life stuff. I'm currently going to a private school but I'd much prefer to go back to Alvin since I know it's a great program and much cheaper for me. 

I applied :) I haven't heard anything back yet though.

I don't think anyone hears back for a minimum of 6 weeks! And when I went to the info session they even said 8-10 weeks. We should know by late May/early June

Yeah, everybody will hear something around the same time. It's like a mass email send or something.

I know Lonestar is super fast with their acceptance letters. My friend applied for Fall and she already received her letter of acceptance. I believe their application deadline is similar to Alvin.

Do you know anyone co-enrolled in one of the concurrent BSN programs? I'm looking at the degree plan for UH Clear Lake and it seem like a great (albeit time consuming) option

Yeah we have a few. I decided against it as I paid so much for my first degree at ATM and nearly every hospital will help pay for your BSN after obtaining your RN. I know there's a few that are in it and going strong but we definitely had a higher drop out/fail rate from those in the concurrent program.

Ugh, I know! I'm so impatient. I need peace of mind. I really want to leave this private program.

Awesome! Congrats! I got waitlisted. It's not a no just yet so can't be mad at that. Still got hope.
